Alexandra Salomon is a veteran in online marketing/ advertising and international business.
Alexandra is currently working at LivingSocial leading their international marketing. Prior that, she consulted for Disney Publishing on international strategy and development of digital media, including the launch of 4 international iPad applications. She also is an expert associate with The Osder Group, an advisor for Zulama.
Alexandra’s prior experience includes VP, International for Zinio, a digital publishing and marketing services company; Senior Director for Global Sales Development at Yahoo managing international advertising, product monetization, and trade marketing events; and Senior Director in Global Product Management leading international strategy, country launches, and new developments for Overture (Yahoo Search Marketing).
Alexandra started out in the early Internet years with AOL International. At the end of her tenure, she oversaw global alliances, international interactive marketing strategy, training and development for over a dozen countries. During her years there, she worked with over a hundred clients and agencies including eBay, Philips, Coca-Cola, Travelocity, Monster, Schwab, Toyota, Carat and Dentsu.
Alexandra grew up in Europe, speaks French, Russian and Spanish, holds a B.A. in International Affairs and an MBA in International Trade and Finance.
